CLARENDON, N.Y. - Three people are being hospitalized after a rollover crash in Orleans County Friday night.
The Orleans County Sheriff's Office says that the driver of a 1997 Ford Explorer lost control of her vehicle around 8:35 p.m. after striking and killing a deer on Mansfield Road near Hindsburg Road.
The vehicle rolled over several times and ejected a front-seat passenger before coming to rest in an upright position.
Officials say the ejected passenger is identified as Jerome T. Delano II, 21, of Brockport. Delano was flown by Mercy Flight to Strong Memorial Hospital with what were believed to be life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the vehicle was Sara J. Pokol, 27, of Brockport. A rear-seat passenger was identified as Alexander A. Ramos, 18, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Pokol and Ramos were taken by ambulance to Strong.
There injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
