Bills Sign Rookie LB Tank Carder

BUFFALO, N.Y. - The agent for Bills rookie linebacker Tank Carder has confirmed to 2 on Your Side that he has agreed to terms with the team.  Carder will sign his contract when he arrives for the teams rookie camp later this week.

The Bills selected Carder with their second 5th round pick in this years NFL draft.  He is the first of their nine draft picks to agree to a contract. 

Carder was a star linebacker at TCU.  The 6'2", 236 pound linebacker was the two-time Mountain West Defensive Player of the Year. He started 13 games as a senior and finished with 70 tackles.  Carder named as the Defensive MVP of the 2011 Rose Bowl as TCU beat Wisconsin.  He finished his career at TCU with 228 career tackles.

The Bills will hold a rookie minicamp from Friday to Sunday in Orchard Park.
