HAMBURG, N.Y.-When Rick Aronberg was making his push for the Olympics in the late 1980's he was coached by Ryan Lochte's father. Rick has known Ryan since he was a little boy.

Aronberg is the head coach of the Star Swim Club in Buffalo. A number of his swimmers were at the Olympic Trials earlier this year and one Courtney Otto, who now swims for Harvard just barely missed qualifying for the London games.

Two On Your Side's Stu Boyar spoke to Rick about Ryan Lochte. Stu asked Rick if Lochte's win over Michael Phelps earlier this week made him the best swimmer in the world. "I would say he's the best all around swimmer in the world. Until Michael gets beat day in day out I still consider Michael the greatest that's ever lived. Right now Ryan may have a claim to that title."

Aronberg who missed the Olympics by seven tenths of a second that Lochte not getting a medal in the 200 meter free style is not a big deal. "I don't know if it's a major concern or not I know Ryan wanted to obviously medal in that. Its an event that's maybe his fourth or fifth best event. He's there to win the 200 backstroke, the 400 IM, the 200 IM hopefully but the 200 freestyle would probably be his fourth or fifth event at these games so it was more of a bonus if he had done that."
